Winchai (Romklao Wind Farm Project)

In 2016, AEH co-developed and invested in the “Winchai” project, a 45 MW wind farm in Mukdahan. The company played a crucial role in conducting wind analysis, selecting optimal turbines, and designing an efficient layout. AEH ensured regulatory compliance and secured a 5-year rolling PPA with a potential 20-year extension, with a 3.5 THB/kWh adder for the first 10 years. Commercial operations began in April 2019, and AEH later divested its stake in 2022.

Developing Projects

Since 2020, AEH has been collaborating with Gulf Energy Development on three projects totaling 208 MW. The PPA was awarded in 2023 and signed with EGAT in early 2025. We have secured Goldwind as the turbine supplier, and are now finalizing EPC contractors and project financing.

Projects in Pipeline

AEH is building a pipeline of 350–550 MW, gathering wind data with Met Mast and LiDAR across at least nine sites. By securing land and expanding measurements, we’re positioning ourselves for upcoming PPA opportunities and continuing to support Thailand’s shift to renewable energy.
